As one of the only manufacturers of logging equipment in Western Canada with a product line of skidders, mulchers, fire fighters, drill rigs, and more, with a mechanical and hydrostatic platform that serves the timber harvesting, vegetation management, agriculture, oil/gas, mining, and utility industries. We specialize in remanufacturing existing KMC track vehicles and are in the process of developing a newly designed “Kootrac 3000 Series” track vehicle. Our specific emphasis has predominantly been focused on timber harvesting as we remanufacture a variety of log skidders to improve safety as well as increase productivity and profitability by building track vehicles that can extend the contractors operational season in all weather conditions when other conventional machines cannot operate.

The KMC track vehicle has the ability to:

• Operate all year round in all weather conditions thus extending the harvesting season.
• Maneuver easily in thinning operations by being small and lightweight.
• Skid timber on adverse grades over 40% and favorable slopes to 60% with site specific risk assessment
• Skid areas with environmental concerns such as soil compaction, scarification, and residual stand protection due to our track vehicle having low ground pressure and a more evenly distributed weight.
• Skid large volumes of timber, long distances with few skid trails.
• Be easily maintained, in the field.
• Be fitted with a wide variety of attachments and accessories, allowing it to rise to any occasion.
• Coming soon with a tier 4 Fiat Engine.
