Logan Lake recognized for forest fire safety program

The municipality of Logan Lake was recognized with an award for its pioneering program to make the community safe from forest fires.

FireSmart Canada gave the community a 2013 community protection achievement award. Since 2005, two years after wildfires swept the Interior, the community completed 21 treatment projects.
