Learn more about trees in B.C. with the new British Columbia Trees app for your smartphone. With this app, you can view photos and information about every native tree in our province. In addition, you can take photos of your favourite trees, make notes and GPS the location using the Google Maps on your phone. Just in time for National Forest Week – Sept. 21 to 27 – a coalition of forestry organizations is pleased to launch this Tree Identification App. This free app is available for download from the Association of B.C. Forest Professionals’ and the Truck Loggers Association website. It was made possible by donations from individual forest professionals, UBC and more.
