ABSTRACT: BC Wildfire Service is expanding its focus on Partnerships in wildfire emergency management with First Nations and Stakeholders. Two of those specific groups are the Community Forest Association and the Woodlot Association. Jamie has been working with Brian McNaughton and Jennifer Gunter over the winter to develop a Protocol Agreement between WMB and the WL Federation & CF Association that outlines how the groups will work together through emergency preparedness, prevention, response and recovery. This presentation will share the purpose and highlights of the agreement for your awareness and comments.
