BCCFA’s Submission to the Interior Forest Sector Renewal Process

Our submission includes 10 recommendations

The recommendations are aimed at:

  • increasing community resiliency and supporting economic development
  • improving wildfire mitigation and climate change adaptation
  • advancing reconciliation and increasing the participation of Indigenous communities in the forest sector
  • ensuring jobs are maintained and created in rural communities by rebalancing the tenure system and re-invigorating the added-value activities.
