The purpose of the BCCFA extension work is to provide support to member communities as they go through the CFA application process, become operational and navigate the challenges of change and growth. The experience and wisdom of the network of community forest practitioners is made available through the extension work and the manager’s meetings typically held in conjunction with the BCCFA annual conference. The Community Forestry Guidebooks I and II are a collection of stories on the experiences of community forests link to the Guidebooks
Targeted support is available to all member communities with an invite for a CFA or in any stage of operating a CFA. contact Susan Mulkey, BCCFA Manager of Extension and Communication at smulkey@bccfa.ca
