Mushroom pickers are breathing a little easier after talks with True North Forestry workers ended in logging changes being made.
Jesper Nielsen of Nakusp and Area Community Forest (NACFOR) said after talks with local mushroom pickers such as Joe Kabatoff, Lisa Bjraganson and the Dahlans that they will be reducing the total logging by about 11 hectares. They have also re-distributed where they will be harvesting. Link to full article
