Part of the reason the Special Committee on Timber Supply could not reach a clear or intelligent decision was that the Campbell government had largely eliminated the ability to monitor the resource. Relevant data were not available. The Clark government has the same policy – forge on, but ensure that no funds are available to expose what is happening. Doug Routledge of the B.C.
