The BCCFA’s partnership with the UBC Faculty of Forestry has led to a funded placement which gives the students a chance to put their classroom learning into practice in the unique environment of a community forest. In 2017, a team of two students students were in Kaslo and Creston Valley. In 2018 the two teams were in Burns Lake and with the Cowichan Tribes in Duncan. We are currently recruiting interest from CFAs for the 2019 summer season.
