Woodlots and community forests in the Boundary

The Boundary Woodlot Association (BWA) is against a proposed location for a community forest in Midway and Greenwood.

The West Boundary Community Forest (WBCF) and municipalities of Midway and Greenwood met last month to discuss the issue of community forests in an open forum. In an open letter, the Boundary Woodlot Association asked the municipalities to decline the tenure in the Phoenix Mountain area and request a larger area and annual allowable cut.  May 02, 2012  Grand Forks Gazette
