Your presence, your voices, and your commitment to the values that underpin community forestry made this gathering truly special. Whether you traveled from nearby or from across the province, your participation brought energy, insight, and purpose to every conversation, panel, and shared meal.
Together, we celebrated the spirit of local leadership, Indigenous partnerships, resilience, and innovation. We’re especially grateful for the presenters and panelists, and notetakers and for all the stories, experiences, and wisdom shared so generously — each contribution reminding us of the strength and diversity of our
community forest network.
To our field tour hosts, Khowutzun Forest Services and Manager Rob Furness, — thank you for your warm welcome and generosity in sharing your culture, practices, and tremendous community contributions. And to our sponsors and to all who worked behind the scenes to make this event a success — we couldn’t have done it without you. We leave this conference inspired, connected, and ready to continue the work of stewarding healthy forests and strong communities — together.
