Community Forests — Community Benefits: The Economic Contributions of Community Forests to Rural Communities

The Southern Interior Beetle Action Coalition (SIBAC), and the BC Community Forest Association (BCCFA) announce the release of an important report on the significant value of our province’s community forests. The report provides the findings of an economic analysis of community forests in BC completed in 2015. The purpose of this analysis was to quantify the cumulative, historical economic contributions of community forests to rural communities in BC. read more
