Community Forests provide education opportunities – featuring Tumbler Ridge Community Forest

This year Tumbler Ridge Community Forest opened an accessible interpretive trail in and around a recreation use area in partnership with the District of Tumbler Ridge. Up to 20 interpretive trail signs constructed in English and the local Indigenous language of Beaver provide information along the trail. The trail is within walking distance of the Tourism Centre and High School, where students were involved in the design and stewardship of the trail.
